Dr. Birchall is a Board Certified family physician. He received his Bachelor's of Science Degree and M.D. from the University of Calgary, Canada, and completed his residency at Foothill Hospital in the University's Family Medicine program. He was a staff physician with Palomar Pomerado Hospital, the VA Hospital in San Diego, and physician/Medical Director of the Penn Elm Medical Group in Escondido, California. He was certified by the Canadian College of Family Physicians before receiving certification from the American Board of Family Practice.
